Class 1 F. Harm Saville Memorial Challenge Bowl
Eighteen
exhibition-type miniature roses, six or more varieties, displayed in a
low bowl. Container is to be
provided by the exhibitor and should not exceed 4 inches in diameter. Oasis is permitted.
Section B Special Challenge Classes

Class 2 Mike Williams Challenge Bouquet - In Honor
of Mike Williams
Twelve
(12) disbudded miniatures or mini-floras at exhibition stage, hybridized by
Mike Williams of The Mini Rose Garden, in a vase furnished by the
exhibitor. All 12 may be the same, or
any combination of varieties may be used.
Vases may be picked up after the show. No oasis permitted.
Five
(5) different mini-flora varieties, at exhibition stage, disbudded, exhibited
in separate vases with individual entry tags.
Class 4 One Miniature Bloom
One exhibition stage bloom, to be shown disbudded.
Eligible for Queen, King, Princess of Show, and Court
Trophy awards and ARS Gold, Silver, & Bronze Certificates
Class 5 One Mini-flora Bloom
One
exhibition stage mini-flora bloom, to be shown disbudded.
Eligible for Mini-Flora Queen, Mini-Flora
King, Mini-flora Princess of Show and Mini-flora Court.
Class 6 Miniature Spray
One
multiple bloom miniature rose spray,
two or more blooms.
Best
in Class Trophy and ARS Best Miniature Spray Certificate.
Class 7 Mini-flora
Sprays
One
multiple bloom mini-flora rose spray, two or more blooms.
Best
in Class Trophy.
Class 8 Single Type
Miniatures
Single
type miniature, one bloom per stem (5 to 12 petals).
Best
in Class Trophy and ARS Best Single Miniature Certificate.
Class 9
Micro-miniatures
One
exhibition stage bloom to be shown disbudded.
Best
in Class Trophy.
Class 10 Fully Open Miniature or Mini-flora Bloom
One
open bloom per stem, no side buds, stamens must show, shown disbudded. No single petaled varieties.

Section D Challenge Classes
Seven different miniature roses, exhibition stage, disbudded, to be exhibited in separate vases, with individual entry tags.
Best in Class Trophy.
Class 12 Award of Excellence
Winners
Five different miniature roses, exhibition stage, disbudded, which have won the Award of Excellence, to be exhibited in separate vases with individual entry tags.
Best in Class Trophy.
Class 13 Miniature Rose in a
Bowl
Class 14 Mini-flora Rose in
a Bowl
Exhibition stage mini-flora bloom, no stem and foliage; floating in a clear bowl. Bowls will be available.
Best in Class Trophy.
Class 15 Stages of Bloom.
Three
specimens, same variety, one (1) specimen at bud stage, one (1) specimen at
exhibition stage (1/2 to 3/4 open), one (1) specimen fully open (stamens must
show), disbudded, in one container with one entry tag.
Best
in Class Trophy.
Class 16 Six Exhibition Blooms
One bloom per stem of the same variety, exhibition stage, disbudded, to be exhibited in one vase, supplied by the exhibitor. On oasis allowed.

Class 17 Miniature English
Box
Six
(6) exhibition stage roses to be displayed in miniature English Box. Limited number of boxes available on a first
come, first serve basis or exhibitor may also supply their own.

in Class Trophy and ARS Best Miniature English Box Certificate if won with
miniature roses.
Class 18 Miniature Artist’s Pallet
Five
(5) different varieties of exhibition stage blooms displayed in an artist’s
pallet
Best in Class Trophy.
Class 19 Picture Frame
Class 20 Hybridizer’s Challenge - Carolina District
Three exhibition stage blooms, disbudded; same or different varieties, hybridized by Carolina District hybridizers, exhibited in one vase with one entry tag. .
Best in Class Trophy
Class 21 Hybridizer’s Challenge - Deep South District
Three exhibition stage blooms, disbudded; same or different varieties; hybridized by Deep South District hybridizers, exhibited in one vase with one entry tag.
Best in Class Trophy.
Class 22 Rose Bouquet
Any extra blooms, any number, any stage of bloom, disbudded. Must be at least three varieties in a container provided by the exhibitor. Varieties need not be listed on the entry tag.
Section E
Specialty Classes
One
exhibition stage miniature/mini-flora bloom, shown disbudded. Open to judges and apprentice judges of
show, unlimited number of entries of different varieties.
Best
in Class Trophy and ARS Best Judge’s Entry Certificate.
Class 24 Seedlings &
Sports
One
exhibition miniature or mini-flora seedling or sport, to be shown disbudded, by
the hybridizer. Exhibitor should
indicate “Cross of” or “Sport of” on the entry tag. Best in Class Trophy and ARS Best Seedling Certificate.
Section F
Open to an exhibitor who has never won a trophy in an ARS Rose Show.
Class 25 Miniature Rose
One
bloom per stem miniature rose, exhibition stage, disbudded.
Best
in Class Trophy, and all blue ribbons eligible for Mini Queen.
ARS
Best Novice Certificate
Class 26 Mini-flora Rose
One
bloom per stem mini-flora rose, exhibition stage, disbudded.
Best
in Class Trophy and all blue ribbons eligible for Mini-flora Queen.
