In calendar year 2002, there were a total of 10 ARS Rose Shows in the Carolina District. A review was made of both the hybrid tea and miniature courts for all of the shows to determine what the prominent varieties were.
There were a total of 34 different varieties of hybrid teas that made it to the court during the year. Four points are given to a variety winning Queen, three points for King, two points for Princess, and one point for a Court appearance.
The top 13 were as follows:

Note that Hot Princess and St. Patrick made it to the list by virtue of winning Queen only. Crystalline, the top rose, placed in six of the shows. Moonstone placed in five shows.

Fairhope is the top mini with a total of 5 Mini Queens. Including the 5 Mini Queens, Fairhope appeared on the court in 8 of the 10 Carolina District Shows.
